Join us for Obscura Day at the National Museum for two special tours highlighting objects in their collection that have a mysterious history. The tours will include a look at the tiny Arthur’s Seat Coffins - aka "The Murder Dolls" possibly tied to the 1827-1828 "anatomy Murders" committed by William Burke and William Hare, for the purpose of supplying fresh bodies to the local medical schools.
